@chrlpolk I think that Romney's just misguided in that aspect. But otherwise, he seems very Evangelical to me; unlike Newt Gingrich, a Non-Evangelical Catholic.

@Nickidewbear The - I guess devoted? - Christians I've spoken with generally have a problem with the concept of the Bible being incomplete and imperfect and needing a Joseph Smith revision. That disqualifies Romney, from their perspective.

Personally, I don't consider religious context as an important factor in politics, so I wouldn't be worried if he were an athiest or (gasp!) Muslim on the ballot. But that's me, and voting is a personal decision which we all have to make, individually.

Mitt Romney is a Mormon, does that deviation from the Bible concern you at all? A lot of religious people I've spoken with said they can't endorse him because of that issue.
