@jbockmon Am the frequency is constant for the tuned frequency (for regular radio KHz) but the amplitude is varied. Fm the frequency changes slightly but the amplitude stays the same (regular radio MHz)

@ AppA
in order to make a radiophone signal u need 2 frequences, because the information of the signal has a very small frequence ,so the antenna of the radiophone would need to be huge .so they made a second wave, which has a big frequence .this frequence is named 'carrier' cuz it carries the information.just think that the one frequence is the information (sound etc..) and the other frequence is the the wave that helps the information to come at the radiophone !
sorry for my english :-)

one one of those subcarrier channels? :P that shit was weird, half of the stations had indian music running...
does an AM frequency look similar?

no, but an image search for AM on google will give you a good example of AM. We did AM duing the first half the year. IT's much easier to understand than FM.

did you get a video of the indian music?

no. unfortunately.
got hope?

Interesting video, but what does this mean?:
"The signal is a 100 Hz message tone on a 2 kHz carrier."
peace!

You have a higher frequency radio wave carrying a slower frequency radio wave. Does that make more sense?
