~Flashback - 6 years ago at Franklin K. Polk Middle School~
Standing by my locker getting packed up for my last class I was talking to my best friend. Sara told me to turn around so of course I did...I turned around and there you were of course since me and Sara thought you were gorgeous we just stared trying to think of words and then when you said Sup? My heart melted just getting it out I said Hey. And you just smiled and walked away. Those were the best five seconds of my life but not for long.
The next day while I was sitting in study hall you pulled my hair so I turned around whispering and of course you whispered back
Jackie: Ow! Joe!
Joe: Sorry, I had to get your attention some how
Jackie: A simple tap on the shoulder would of done it
Joe: Oh, right sorry
Jackie: *turns back around*
Joe: *taps her shoulder*
Jackie: Much better...what?
Joe: Here *gives her a note*
Jackie: *turns back around*

That moment will always be in my diary and believe or not I still have that note taped to my diary I remember trying to read your chicken scratch handwriting

Hey! Meet me at the lake after school
See you there! J

What I could read out of that was he meet lake see there which I figured was hey meet me at the lake after school see you there and I laughed in my mind thinking you were stupid for putting your signature at the bottom even though obviously it was from you. I threw the note in my binder making it look like it wasn't a big deal and paid attention in class again.

I went to the lake after school with Sara and Heather my best friends since Kindergarten. I couldn't find you at first but then you jumped on me from behind with Nick and Kevin. That was so funny you scared all of us to death! You hugged me and we walked away leaving Nick, Kevin, Sara, and Heather together. Long story short...you told me I was beautiful and kissed me. Then after like 3 minutes it started pouring and you had to find your brothers and I had to find my friends. And then pretty much after that day we ignored each other except the maybe monthly sup? But 8th grade we got pretty close. We decided to just be friends. And we were best friends ever since.
