The devastation and emptiness takes your breath away. Most of New Orleans is empty. no one is there. Thousands & Thousands left there homes for the safety of the Superdome and never returned. They were put on buses and that was the last time they saw New Orleans. This video is limited to under 10 mins.

It is almost imposable to describe the emptiness, except it looks like a nuclear bomb went off and we looked at it a 100 years later.

  • great video.................

  • Thanks, It was somthing to see in person.

  • I was there for turkey day too. My folks had a house in lakeview. I was amazed to see how little things changed since Katrina. Like you said, a ghost town.

  • Thanks for the comment on Katrina. I shot a lot more footage, but could only post 10mins. It was real bad. Nothing has changed in over a year.

  • This is really sad to see. It makes you wonder. Why dont the the president send the troop to New Orleans to clean up instead of having them die for another country. Shame on you President Bush.

  • I AGREE WITH U 100%

  • I feel so sorry for all you poor americans. Its so unfortunate that your government really dont give a fuck about you. Look at the state of this place. While the government sends aid to lots of other countries and waste shitloads of money on the war in afganistan ( the CIA have to protect their Heroin dont they) . The good people of America suffer in silence. I hope you keep fighting and wish you all the best of luck from the United Kingdom.

  • the saddest part is people dont really talk about it anymore like it never happened.....

  • We just returned from New Orleans with a group of 24. Sadly, now 23 months later most of what you have shown remains the same. It was overwhelming. Please, people, put work teams together and go serve. So many people need help.

  • Before you complain about the little things in your life, remember this video!

  • I am speechless. Total devastation and waste.
