Whitney Houston (August 9, 1963 - February 11, 2012)

Dolly Parton wrote "I Will Always Love You" in 1973. The song was in two movies, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982) and The Bodyguard (1992). Parton's two versions both reached #1 on the country-music charts. Whitney Houston's version is one of the most successful singles ever.

  • So fast how to learn.....!!!!!!

  • @Fantasia976 did you get to the slow part? if that is still too fast, you are not at the correct level yet, practice easier songs to build a foundation. btw, my tutorials are for those who follow the sheets. good luck.

  • it's beautiful. but i'm tired of hearing or seeing that people think that whitney houston was the original singer of this song. um no she wasn't. dolly parton wrote and sung this song back in the 70's

  • @zac613 i made that quite clear in the video description

  • Whitney might have sung it better, but the fact remains that Dolly wrote it and there is a lot of merit in that.

  • @zac613 Just because she wrote it doesn't mean Whitney's version isn't any less beautiful.

  • @zac613 in the movie the best or wackyest whore house n texas

  • @zac613 Yeah, but Whitney took the song to a whole new level. That happens every once in a while. Never judge songs by who sang/wrote/performed them first. Judge them on their own merit. The same goes for movie remakes and book to film adaptations and life in general.

  • @zac613 Yes but Whitney Houston made it popular and did it way better (in my opinion) :)

  • u suck dude
