Spyro 2, for PlayStation PS1, 1999

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (aka Gateway to Glimmer, X Sparx) is a video game for the Sony PlayStation 1 console. Developed by Insomniac and released in year 1999. Plot: a dinosaur riding sorcerer known as Ripto has invaded the world of Avalar and is wreaking havoc on its citizens with his magic. As Spyro, you must travel through the world of Avalar and undo the damage done by Ripto. In the gameplay, Spyro can attack enemies with his typical dragon breath, or charge through them in a charge attack. Using his wings to glide, Spyro can extend his jumping distance considerably.

I lean towards 2D platformers myself. I was raised on the Mario/Sonic hedgehog stuff.

I only played the first one , and that was back in they day , and this looks like an updated version of that , like new levels and bosses . Nice one.

sypro is a fun game, i use to play it, when my ps2 was working, i played it every week, it was the phat ps2 and to make it worse, it was the second day ps2 came out when i got it

I've never played the Spyro game....not sure why I just can get into playing them

Never could get into the Spyro games was just my type of game always reminded me of StarFox in some ways oddly which am not a big fan of either.

yea it seems spyro took a nosedive when it hit the ps2..i think they were releasing way too many at a time

Such a great game. It's a shame insomniac let the series go. The pal cover looks more interesting then the ntsc. Nice video.

insomniac is still making great platformers for sony. 5 stars Narox! now lets see some Crash Bandicoot
