Yeah, Shatabdi is obviously on the heavier side. But that doesn't make the Shatabdi more powerful. Acela is way powerful.. Btw, the power cars(in the rear and front) are an integral part of the train. So that makes a total of 8 cars. Two Acela train sets can even be coupled, thus making a total of 16 cars(make it 15, excluding the one power car that is pulling from the front). Still, it can do 150 mph.

By trying to praise Indian Railways, don't be a fucking idiot by opening your mouth about Amtrak! Have you even heard about Acela Express? They are almost twice as fast as our Shatabdi or Rajdhani.
