can someone please help - whenever I draw with the brush and then go over the same area again the bit that overlaps is deleted (or rather it changes color)

I don't know how to stop it from doing this and make the brush work like an actual brush and not delete what i'm trying to draw?

@busessuck1 Check all the settings. Is the brush on normal mode? Did you try reseting tools? Go to help and search for reseting.

When I press alt to change the color ps puts it as background color instead of foreground and i have to keep pressing x to change it. any way i can make it normal? to place it in foreground when i hold alt? can't find out anywhere..

hey the tutorial helped me a lot, however when I open my cs4 it says that my tablet driver isnt working even though its up to date and everything. Any suggestions?

I can't blend as you are doing in the video. Is a special brush or something because instead of blend, my brush paints....=(
