Beware that in many jurisdictions a flare gun is considered a firearm! Keeping it in a bag could be construed as having an illegal concealed weapon. Be careful where you go with your kit- a school campus would subject you to Federal as well as State charges...

I got a back pack filled with 64 flares and the small pocket has a flare gun with 20 shells. So yay on that part.

@Calbrazil2007 That sounds like a good idea. You never know what situation you may find yourself in. However, make sure you also have a flashlight in there.
