Yes, if you have a smaller image you can work with the entire image. Many times the image is too large to keep all of the UTEE hot enout to take the new granules at one time so it's easier for beginners to work in sections.
As far as even coverage goes...once UTEE is molten it will level out no matter where you start/finish. That's the beauty of it...you really can't mess it up!
Roni is this done with an picture that you took.... i.e. kodak type picture or from some picture out of the book

This is a collage image from Tuscan Rose. I belive it is laser printed but I have worked with images from magazines, books and actual photographs (matte - not glossy.) I'm not sure if glossy photos work the same as matte finish.
