Most of these historic houses of Puerto Varas were built around 100 years ago in the wooden style that is so typical of the region. There is a tourist circuit that takes you to see these houses. All you have to do is follow the arrows on the footpath.
Almost all of the houses are still being lived in, yes, even some of the very rundown ones. Check out the last house with a close-up of the wooden tiles.
