Maharaja - A Royal Gay Indian Story.

Multi-media artist, filmmaker, Artistic Director of GFest, Niranjan Kamatkar was approached some time ago for an arts film commission proposal on Maharajas of India - the famous, news worthy celebrity - amongst the world royalty.

The high profile gallery rejected his idea of the short film ' Maharaja - A Royal Gay Indian Story'. Without any finance or resources (possibly it shows in the film!!) Niranjan made this film to put on YouTube - truly the people's gallery & forum.

As any artists would be, Niranjan is scared of adverse or ill-informed responses and the critic who may be unusually harsh after putting anything out there for the public.
