@JamesBurrTV that's how it works out of the box - although does take a little setting up right. Have a look on Z4-Forum, this has come up a few times now - actually, this was filmed for one of the guys on there.

Hi, did you have to make any modifications to the rack or the car for this? I'm having a hell of a time finding a rack that will fit a Z4 soft-top. Thanks.
