  • I just want to tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I am a born and raised in Pasadena man, but have been in The O.C. for the past 20 years. But my dad and I used to spend a lot of time in the San Gabriels. Thank you for bringing back some great memories. And thank you for being an inspiration to me to be active in your "more mature" years.

  • Thanks for your comments about my hiking videos. I turned 83 last month and am so thankful that I can still get around (and up)as I really enjoy these trips into the wild. I'm constantly amazed at the number and variety of different hikes that are available so close to home (I live in La Crescenta). Keep on truckin!

  • this place was ruiend by all the diry people who leave trash and bath there

  • Can't agree with you more, especially the Frenchmans Flat area. In fact, there was a fire dept crew out there picking up junk. Shouldn't have to be. Some people are real pigs.

  • @RCboy250 I also agree. As a boy scout I was always taught to leave your area twice as clean, my son and I always try to pick extra trash along the way either up on down creek. (Hint to others ;) ) In addition, word of advice to those that have yet to trek this area CAUTION ! I have come across rattlesnakes every time I go up there oh and one more thing have a great time!

  • I have not done this hike yet but have been considering it. My hiking friend and I may go there soon. We are 2 women in our 60's. Do you think this is a safe area for us to go?
