Born in Si Sa Ket, Theera Phongwan changed his name to Yodsanan Sor Nanthachai turning professional at the age of 19 and compiling a record of 58-3-1 (47 ko's) over 16 years in the business. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This was the first defense of his WBA super featherweight title after capturing it in a battle between top contenders after Acelino Freitas became SUPER Champion after dethroning Casamayor on January 15, 2004. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yodsanan also bested Stevie Forbes, Lavka Sim, Sataporn Singwancha and Jimrex Jaca. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
