  • For example 5, is X not open and so the union of anything and X would not be open?

  • @wintermoot

    X must be open or one of the axioms would not be satisfied. In the example 5 no one union of open sets is capable comprises X, if X is not among these sets.

  • @JFStarwood pictures are good too, would be a good aid for topology

    although putting everything on theoretical basis is still necessary

  • These concepts are so simply if you just teach with pictures from video games or something...I recommend a different teaching strategy sir. But great effort indeed, you're doing a great job :)
