When The Pedestal Breaks (original)

Here's another original tune I wrote while going through some stuff in my life, and by observing so many relationships failing around me and my family at the time. The song tells a story we are all too familiar with, and why I wonder? Is it so much that two people dramatically change during the course of a relationship, like in "Lover's Cross", or is it the unrealistic expectations we project upon each other when we lift our partners up "on a pedestal"? Maybe it doesn't matter, because it all feels the same in the end.

Song has two titles because I have never picked one, so it's called "When The Pedestal Breaks" but parenthenically titled (We Had A Good Thing Going, Baby). Even got daring and threw in my first key change.
