Okay I have literally done 30-40 mixes over the last couple of weeks for this Michael Jackson tribute. Something always goes wrong, or i end up not liking the mix. I wanted to post a video a couple of weeks ago, but........ didn't happen. I just noticed in this mix i left out the "Thriller" beat! It was in 90% of the other mixes. Oh well. Maybe its best i didn't use it. Most MJ tributes have that in it. I like my mix to be different than everyone elses. I can't find my Michael Jackson "Off The Wall" album! I have 2 copies of it. One here at the house, and one in storage. The one here at the house i see it every day. Right up front of all the records, but when i wanted to use it to make this mix. I can't find it anywhere! That frustrated me. Looking all around the house for a record that was always in the same spot. I still can't find it : ( Good thing i recorded "Rock With You" onto a CD! I need to do that with all of my records.
O.K. enough rambling
Equipment used to make this mix:
2 Technics 1200 turntables
2 Numark CDX CD players (which kept breaking down on me!)
1 Mixer
1Yamaha CD recorder
A few Michael Jacson & Jacksons records and CDs
A few blank CDs
And of course my own 2 hands!
P.S. I don't like the last couple of minutes of this mix, but i put it on anyway.
dawg dis cold rite here! U did yo thang!

djcas69 I think you did a wonderfull job, the mix was perfect, better? imposible. The music selection was perfect and the way you blen it, PROFESIONAL. This was a perfect time for a mix due to MJ death (RIP). If youre not woking as a profesional DJ maybe you should consider it. Are you using any software to make youre mixes? MK2? Concord,Stanton or Shure?

Thanks for your comments! I used to DJ in different clubs, now i just do it in my bedroom. I don't use any software for my mixes. Just 2 turntables, 2 CD players, a mixer, CD recorder and my 2 hands. : ) ererything used is shown at the end of the video.
