"Manipulative?" How? cause he uses reason and logic to sell you? How do Vegas casinos take your money and you leave with little or nothing? Because of how you were treated. All this method teaches is a non-comfrontation method of selling. All these techniques are logic and reason-driven. For example, if you paid 20k on a car and have 400 payments how can you mathematically expect the same on a 30k car? sold cars in past and don't miss the 1% idiot/ignorant/anti-logic customers
Really? That's a sales meeting? That's called being sold? (Which no one likes to be sold) If I go to buy a car from this guy and it's not up to me, I'm just "along" for the ride? Then he calls me "Jack." Folks, this is called manipulation. The first rule of selling! Interesting, because in his example he does not agree, he simply makes a comment. "Most people don't" is not an agreement to "I'm not buying a car today." You ain't? It is all about the money.
Business people who sell things for a living hate car salesman because of the process they put you through. We all know what they are doing when they step away from the desk and consult with their "boss". Every car I have purchased from a dealership goes through the same process ending with a phone call 2 day's later from the saleman giving me the deal I asked for the first 20 minutes of the process. Tis is why they work 60 + hours a week!
