Okay. So, this is not good advice. I used to think the same thing, until I actually got in a band and started having to scream on a regular basis. Plus, I sing too. So, you cant just use the grit in your throat to distort your voice. You shouldnt use your throat at all. I have 3 friends that are all front men from bands around my area that got somewhat "big" and they use to scream like that. Guess what? They all had to have throat surgery after a few years, and now they can't scream at all.

Once you learn fry, other screams sound so confusing lol. So im like trying to, scream low, blah diaphram that all makes sense. idk im use to using a diffrent part of my throat of vocals, so where r u feeling the scream for this false?
