If we Americans didn't have our stupid version of football, and played Rugby? We would be a threat, not necessarily the best, but a heck of a lot better than we are now...

The sport is growing here, just give us some time.

Is that why most of them play in professional clubs in Europe?

i'd like to see how you cope playing the ball back through your legs with a few forwards hanging over you head. if one of the falls it's a pretty sore situation.. and breaking a nose is sore but it's not the end of the world. get over yourself.

It was easy to predict Ireland winning that from the start cause Irish sport you have to be tough and fit but in American sports you have to look though take steroids and where a bunch of pads

The problem with the U.S competing at a global level is a matter of geography getting your best 30 team members together and competing at a top level consistently ie. tri nations or 6 nations. You would have to have the majority of your squad living in Europe or Australia.

Don't call football stupid! There is nothing wrong with having a sport that no one else plays. The Irish have gaelic football and hurling, and the Australians have australian football. I think its cool we have a sport all to ourselves.

I agree with u 100%. I can see rugby in the U.S going from strength to strength. U guys are relatively new to the game of rugby but u have all the necessary facilities and financial backing and support for the game to prosper in your country, I can see the U.S team doing great things in the future.
