Thanks for posting this! Four months ago I had no idea ileostomies existed and now that I've had one for the last few months life has definitely been interesting. It's great to see and hear stories about them because most people who don't kinda look at you funny, haha. I just got a grit hole in the velcro part of the bag this morning! I MacGuiver'd it with a hair pin and some tissue though.

You know this is awesome that you are doing these videos. I have GERD and Ulcerative Colitis. It never occurred to me that someday I might have to go through something like this.

I met up with a neighbour today and we got talking and she said she has one of these bags, can't even notice it. So thanks to you I get to be more understanding!

I have UC... so it was interesting seeing this vid as i have been at higher probability of resievingthe surgury as Remicade currently is not working

oh yes...haha when your having a great sleep....you wake up a little...shuffle under your blankets..your hand touches you pj shirt....and you're wide awake !!

on a permanent ileostomy the stoma is lot smaller using a two part bag you can turn it at night to the side you sleep never have a night accidet in 23 years
