Found a Jerry Clower DVD at a pawn shop today for $3. I never got to see him live but when I was a kid... his albums entertained me for years! He's a big reason I wanted to do standup comedy.

I never saw video of him. When I was 12, my neighbor had his greatest hits album we heard so many times, we knew it by heart.

I saw him twice and I got to go back stage both times and talk with him for a while...of course I felt like I'd known him all my life from listening to his records...he was a very sweet man...I cried when I read in the paper that he had passed away...there'll never be another one like him.
