  • Great vids thanks for the tips!

  • Prep can be time consuming (takes twice as long as it does to paint the room) but it's definitely worth the effort. In addition to making painting easier, we use the opportunity to take the fixtures and outlet covers and run them through the dishwasher. Dust and dirt on fixtures will never be more obvious than in a freshly painted room.

  • My brother's asking me to paint his house, but I just think that removing all those fixtures is like a lot of work , nobody's gonna know anyway underneath that, but taping the edges does makes sense

  • I like the way he works so neatly. Clean as you go. Love it!

  • Thanks! I didn't realize there was that option. :D

If you can find the breaker box in your house, try to find the breaker to your room and turn it off.

  • Is it safe to go at it without gloves? Will i get shocked if it did this to the light fixture in my room? O_O
