Fethullah Gulen Celebrates Eid al Fitr

As many Muslims worldwide observe this day to celebrate Eid al Fitr, Prominent Islamic Scholar Fethullah Gulen celebrated by attending the special morning prayer.

Gulen celebrated the day with close friends and people from the neighborhood where he also gave out presents to children, an important aspect of traditional Eid celebration.

During the gathering, Gulen gave important messages regarding the significance of the day and underlined the importance using these occasions to improve family bonds by visiting our relatives and parents.

In his speech to those that attended the gathering, he also spoke of the importance of keeping a pure heart and following a road that pleases God. In the same line keeping a pure heart, he also spoke of the importance of understanding the achievements and successes in our lives, as bounties from God, as we cannot attribute these glad tidings to our own doings but only to those of God.
