his rear hand should be in front of his face a few inches from his chin while his lead han shoul be laid across his center ...known as the on guard position..also his footwork is old chinese footwork ..modernfootwork is much more economic, mobility being a key factor in combat . his foward shuffle his feet are to close to each other... simple for beginers..if u like feetwork i suggest u look up "jeet kune do" footwork i think they have 1 on youtube.....
