Did Flash, Atom, and Aquaman just fly?
-
Confidnetiallyu, I've always called Filmation Fugmation for the obvious reason that their animation is Fugly [thanks to Tina Fey for writing that into the Mean Girls script..:)]

The great Ted Knight ladies and gentlemen!

Does This belong to the Superfriends Hanna-Barbera series? O_o"

Batman can't fly in space and wonder woman is too busy making Superman's sammich in the kitchen. :)
-
didn't know that
-
@DrMlieko Wrong. Filmation did do Batman.

I like how all 6 of them fly off even though 3 of them couldn't fly.

@mrmoore1970 Wonder Woman's never been all that popular, to be honest. She only has a regular comic because her creator's will requires that DC publish a monthly comic of her if they want to exercise any other rights, such as merchandise and television. And they didn't give Aquaman additional powers or background; the various Superfriends series removed them.

@blackghost263 a bit unrelated but there doesn't seem like there's going to be a wonder girl in the new Young Justice(kinda like the teen titans) cartoon. the green archer Amazon might be it but that would still be avoiding the wonder name for whatever reason(and the arrowette name)
I'm a huge comic nerd but....
Without Batman or Wonder woman this just seems like some weird super-hero fetish orgy.

If ANYONE doubts the original FOUNDING roster I invite you to check out the VERY first published appearance of the JLA - Brave and the Bold #28 (March 1960) the JLA was fighting Starro the Conquerer (roster = Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash & Martian Manhunter)AND Justice League of America #1 (October/Novemeber 1961) the JLA was fighting Despero and the roster was the same as before. Filmation based their cartoon on the ORIGINAL Silver-Age JLA ,why wouldnt they ?
