The irony in this episode is that in real life Jack Klugman appeared with his then-wife Brett Somers on the actual ABC "Password" on two different weeks, Dec. 6-10, 1971 and Oct. 22-26, 1973. There's some debate as to whether it was the Dec. 7, 1971 or Oct. 23, 1973 edition (both of which fell on a Tuesday) that aired twice on GSN in 2006 and 2007 (with 5 kHz telco sound and all), but there is a consensus it may be the earlier date, partly due to host Allen Ludden's attire on that show.
In all fairness...lead was a TERRIBLE clue for the word pencil.

Felix's clues, as described by Corey Evan: "WHOA!!! Hello."

I wonder if 1:27 was a blooper. I am referring to the part where the Alan gives Felix the card, and then Felix says 'Thank you, Oscar. I mean Alan.'
