Assault At Doylestown PA Health Care Protest

This video was taken at a rally in Doylestown PA on Saturday August 22, 2009 against Government Health Care. In it a man carrying an umbrella bearing the logo "Bucks County Democrats" clearly strikes the dark haired woman passing him. This incident was witnessed by 8or 9 individuals (myself included) from across the street. The wielder of the "Bucks County Democrats" umbrella subsequently struck the woman's 2 daughters with the umbrella. The assault was sufficient to knock the contact lens from one of the girls' eye. This, while not captured on the video, was similarly witnessed by several people (myself included). The woman, while encouraged to press charges chose not to detract from the importance of the event.

Just so you know, most of those non-democrats in attendance were what would become Tea Party members. You are correct, both parties suck and the Tea Party movement is a very visible and committed response to just that..
