After the fur demo in London 4 Met cops decided they couldn't bare to part with us and so we protested with them all through London :D

People who have been followed around London for over an hour, just for having attended a demonstration which had no agro whatsoever. The police need something to do for the remainder of their shift, so they follow around half a dozen teenagers.

What they appear to be doing is exercising a level of self-control that most civilians would be incapable of. I imagine that for a lot of people, the urge to batter you lot would have been hard to suppress.

I imagine being followed around for about an hour by strong, adult men is a normal situation too? Especially when you are a young girl. It works both ways my friend. This is what your taxes are being spent on, to follow me and my friends around while we attempt to spend the day sightseeing in London.

Seems the police were right to follow you. Im all for protests but protesters ned to followed. Let the student protests be an example why.

@ryan270286 Yes indeed. I've never been followed around by police whilst spending a 'day sightseeing in London'. In fact I'm happy for my taxes to be put towards ensuring nobody gets bothered on the tube by protestors, nothing gets damaged etc.

@misslieyuk I agree with 06innesw. You say you were followed around London for over an hour, 'just' for having attended a demonstration. Although there may have been no agro, this is what happens during demonstrations. It's to allow a safe March. They didn't shout at you, they didn't abuse you, and you never got accused of a criminal offence. You - and I believe, your friends - were the ones who couldn't act in a mature manner whilst in public and made yourself look stupid, unlike the officers.

That look on the officers faces isn't embarrassment. That look is one of utter contempt for a group of purile kids who think they are a lot more intelligent than they actually are and have nothing better to do. Go and get a job and perhaps consider having a wash (it will help you when you go for your job interviews)
