Harpo's Forgotten Silver - Terranigma

Terranigma is a beautiful game! It's an SNES RPG action game released in the mid-90's. One could argue that the game really isn't all that forgotten, but the fact that it was never released in the US makes it special. Here's a short introduction to the game.

Oh, the game has some gorgeuous looks, both technically and aesthetically. The Mode 7 effects in the Underworld have some nice features, and the pre-rendered shots in cinematics actually look alright.

Ark is an interesting hero. He's a lot like Link, except he talks. Just an ordinary kid that always causes trouble for the people around him. When he accidentally curses his entire village, he's prompted to take responsibility and set off. He's no cliché warrior, he's just a kid. I like him.
