Might have looked like a bad call preflop, and it possibly was, but this is a video of one isolated hand; we don't know whether Paasonen is a majorly aggressive player or not. Bruel's tournament history is nothing to be sniffed at, either, so it's not like any one of us is able to comment on Bruel's play with certainty.

Nice call preflop after a 3bet with ATs ROFL

go back to singing, bruel

bruel is not the best, but come on, this is typical the most cruel flop of texas holdem, i've killed very good players with this kind of flop and i'm a weak player...

Bruel won a WSOP bracelet in 1998, finished 2nd on another event, and made 10 ITM. The thing is that back before 2003, winning a bracelet at the WSOP was considering as being a world champion, of course not as much aas THE world champ', winner of the Main Event.

@martysparty2042 I agree that calling preflop was bad. However, it is only bad if we assume there is no significant history between these two players. Postflop action was fine by both players though. There is certainly nothing wrong with not raising the flop with the third nuts and nothing wrong with betting 1/3 pot on turn late in a tournament on such a dry board.

@bankitdrew Ace Ten made a lot of mistakes that hand.
1. Coldcalling preflop after a raise and reraise
2. Flat calling on the flop with trips, best to play the hand aggressively to try to make it look like a bluff. A flat call looks suspicious.
3. Betting 1/3 pot on the turn screams of trip 10s
Overall very poorly played and he got what he deserved

this video sucks. It stops randomly in the middle.
