Session 23: The X-23 Session

Goofed on initial vid and ran over time so just re-shot the whole thing. Forgot to discuss scale, but she's 5.75" tall so she's barely over the 6.25" Sentinel series Cyclop's chin.

Bio: Was created from Wolverine's DNA, infused with adamantium, and programmed to be a killer. However, meeting with Wolverine helped to gradually override her mental conditioning and she eventually ends up with the X-Men.

-Wrist (pin-joint/twist)
-Forearm (360 swivel)
-Elbow (double pin-joints/twist)
-Bicep (360 swivel)
-Shoulder/arm (standard movement)
-Head (ball joint; impeded by hair. Can't look up)
-Waist (360 swivel)
-Leg/hip (mod-ball joint; can't move straight out on own, although thigh can twist to compensate for this)
-Knee (double pin-joint/twist)
-Calf (360 swivel
-Boot/ankle (pin-joint/twist)
-Toe blade (pin-joint/twists out)

Body seems to have different paint tone than face. Otherwise, glossy shades of black used for costume. No peg hole in back, which is a shame since she'd look cool in jumping poses.

Geezus her head is friggin huge for her body. Marvel Legends has been such a fail lately - Marvel Universe figures are way better imho

first off, Laura is classified as James' sister, despite her retcon when she was added to the comics, she still has his full DNA, thus making her his "fraternal twin", but she does kind of look like her "mother" when you look at her artwork. and she did originate in evolution, but other than that, great review
