On the final episode of Make Me a Millionaire, 12 lucky contestants were awarded a total of $213,500 in cash and prizes.
George E. Tomaiko of San Diego won $60,000 playing California Cool. The retired San Diego Gas & Electric Co. worker is an avid baseball fan and plays centerfield in the 65 years and older baseball league. Tomaiko travels regularly throughout the US to play baseball and has even attended the Major League Baseball training camp in Florida. "This money will subsidize my baseball playing and my wife will get to go along with me so she'll get a vacation out of it," Tomaiko said.
Joel Schmidt of Carlsbad and Maria Aguirre of Ventura came up winners on the Lucky Penny segment. Lucky Penny winners have the option of taking the cash equivalent of the car and both Schmidt and Aguirre chose the cash. Schmidt, a musical theater actor, says he will use a portion of his prize to take his daughter to see a Broadway play in New York. Aguirre, a housekeeper, plans to use her money to help pay for her daughter's education.

@Hondo20132 But then again, I only saw so many episodes of the Big Spin. As far as I know, there were only 2 $1M spins during their final year (on the other hand, in 2004 there were 2 $3M wins).

@nbguy108 idk it looked like they gave away more money than the Big Spin generally did. In 2009, they gave away over $11M in the Millionaire Game alone (who knows how much total...)

@GamePro0012 During the Big Spin's last few years, they only had 3 games (the wheel spinning, Aces High, and the Dream Machine).

They didn't know this was the last episode when it was taped. There are actually 5 more UNAIRED episodes here on YT, #s 226-230. There is no mention on episode 230 about it being the last episode either; the cancellation wasn't announced until after it was taped.
This show had potential; IMO what killed it was the halving of most prizes, the prizes were too low, and the impossible odds of winning $1 mil., compared to Big Spin.
This show LOOKED great and had good pacing, but no substance.

@Hondo20132 Yeah, you're right. Perhaps it would've done better if they had more games, and not in the same sequence everytime. That would've been way more exciting.

@GamePro0012 This did show some potential. It may be inferior to Big Spin, but still...
