  • hey so does that stock mount firmly and stand up to repeated blasts? I purchased a shotgun from a guy who replaced the sturdy and tough factory synthetic stock, w/ a pos promag 6 point adjustable stock. It looked cool, but when I took it out shooting the fucker started to come loose. How does the knoxx unit stand up to repeated heavy loads? thanks

    c

  • it stands up just fine. no stock will stay mounted firmly unless it is tightened properly though what you need to do is put some loctite on the threads before you tighten it and that will keep it from coming loose

  • thinking about buying this stock for my winchester, what is the recoil like shooting a slug?

  • just like shooting birdshot

  • Spec Ops. Worth the money??

  • yes i like it very much some people dont like it for like shooting birds and stuff, but i find that it makes it easier for me.

  • I like to lean into the recoil myself.

  • A little more kick than the airsoft he is accustomed to...

  • Man he needs to find a better stance or something. Even with my factory 870 stock and nothing but that lame Remington excuse for a recoil pad slugs didn't even come close to knocking me backwards. Sure it hurt but I wasn't knocked off balance! Teach your friend to lean into it more or something.

  • Hurricane, does it help with lighter loads such as reduced recoil buck and slugs, or is the kick pretty much the same?

The question isn't as daft as it sounds because I've tested some products which claim to reduce recoil but have found that they have no effect below a certain power level.

I am extraordinarily sensitive to recoil after a neck injury and really would appreciate your input.

  • LOL! Yeah he flinches big time.

I think the #1 thing to fight flinching is dry-firing with snap caps, and pulling the trigger for the surprised --- not anticipated --- bang. Even with the Knoxx, there is still a good amount of recoil and noise.

  • you can see at the start of the video that he antsipates the recoil as he pulls the triger and the safty is on by flinching, i think that this stock could help people from doing this and shoot a moore accurate shot
