@traccstar1182 It's not about winning over a WHITE crowd, it's about winning over a crowd. Patrice O'Neal was a great comedian, not a great "BLACK comedian"; the difference is his comedy was universal and didn't need to rely on strictly black vs white comparisons - he just told it how it is in his own style. Yes, some of the observations are black vs white but unlike other comics, it isn't his crutch. For that, he reached greatness.
