I tried to play THIS SONG as "background music" for a sister missionary teaching session. When one of them asked if this was from the Broadway production of the Book of Mormon, and I applauded them for guessing correctly, she asked me to turn it off as it was "very" offensive.

@ciainformant: Religion drove literature and science to where it is today. It also drove war, but if you've an ounce of actual knowledge on society, you'll know that the ends justify the means (see Machiavalli). Stop being a prick and deal with the fact taht religion was necessary to get our beautiful world to the place it is today. And this is coming from an Agnostic.

@ciainformant This doesn't accurately represent mormons. You know that right? It was specifically made to make fun of them, so don't judge mormons upon the things people make that are only made to mock them. If you've ever met a mormon you would see they are friendly people who strongly believe their religeon, even if you don't agree with it.
