i set my gopro down about 20 feet for this one. filmed on january 7 around noon in south kona. it was calm at first, then swells mixed everything up, then it calmed again, and life went on and on and on.

    i have a short, metal tripod (from a spotting scope) and i added 5 pounds of lead scuba weight, for ballast. that worked pretty well. without the scuba weight, it was tippy.
