Guam- A homecoming ceremony was held at the old airport terminal as fallen hero Petty Officer 2nd Class Anthony Carbullido arrived this afternoon. Carbullido, also known as "Tony", was killed in Afghanistan after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) struck a vehicle he was traveling in. His father Anthony flew out to Delaware to escort his son's body home and in honor of the fallen sailor's memory, we present this special video montage of today's ceremony, courtesy of PNC photographer Jeff Santo Tomas. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

  • My name is SrA David Richman. I am a Crew Chief on KC-135s for the US Air Force. I had the privilage of crewing this jet on this TDY, to bring a fallen hero home. His father, who rode with us, while he was recieved by friends, family and members of the US Armed Forces will be forever remembered as an inspiration. His son will be forever remembered as a hero, selfless and couragous. My sympathies to the friends and family. Once again, it was truly an HONOR to bring this young man home.

  • I would like to say I am truly sorry for you loss, I am also proud of all the things he did. I am also proud to be near the classroom that was dedicated to him. I had instructors that worked proudly beside him. I am a Corpsman as well, and I am very proud of what he did for his country, God Bless him and your family.

  • I was a navy corpsman also and went to corps school with Anthony and even dated him for a short time. We did not keep in touch after corps school and I wasn't aware he had passed, but I am glad I had the chance of meeting him. He did many great things and I'm proud of his accomplishments. RIP Anthony <3
