  • Thanks! I had to put him down just before Xmas ... he was 15 years old! I loved that dog. Hardest thing I've ever done. I petted him until I could feel he was gone. I miss him.

  • Why was your thermometer set for beef if you were cooking pork? Just wondering. All the food looked good.

  • So that it would alarm at something less than well done. That thing has set alarm points for various kinds of meats. Some meats (chicken, turkey, pork) only alarm at 170F I think. Thanks for watching.
