Osprey - Bird of Prey - with large fish.

Osprey - ( Pandion haliaetus), in flight. I used "freeze frame" on accasion and also slowed down flight motion for better observation of this magnificent bird. Finally caught its mate circling for about 15 minutes with large fish in its long curved claws.
On the Mid-North coast of N.S.W. in Australia.

these birds can pick up any small animal if u have a small dog or even a cat watch out for hawks and it pick them up and eat them so be careful!

One used to live on a buoy out in the Puget Bay (when I lived in Tacoma many years back). It had a nest and all... pretty damn cool bird!
