@sirrloin I would have to agree almost completely. Vanilla was an amazing time to play. Bads couldn't hold their own and were rooted out, HOWEVER, BC was an amazing expansion that did wonderful things for pvp. Resilience wasn't a crutch, it was a necessity. I remember playing rogue and once you got ahold of AQ 40 weaps and t2 or 2.5 you 2 shot all casters, no question. The rest of what you said though I agree with. Blizzard ruined the game and its not the same anymore.

As sad as it pains me to say it I don't think the WoW Vanilla experience will ever exist again. I loved having to PLAY for what you got out of the game. You had a name, people could identify you by your gear in cities. Hubs, linear dungeons, points for "trying", resilience gear. All crutches for bads who want quick gratification.
