For those of you who don't know who Preta and Paco are... Here's a little summary... Paco and Preta are characters in a 2004 Brazilian soap opera named "Da cor do Pecado" in English is means "The color of Sin"
Paco is the only son of a billionaire business man (Alfonso Lambertini) Paco doesn't want anything to do with his father's money. Mostly because how his father makes his money. Burning down parts of the Amazon. Paco hates that his father is kill Brazil's natural resources. So he makes a nice little life out for himself as a Botanist. Fighting to save the plants, trees and flowers his father is killing. On a business trip to the south to research more plants he meets the love of his life Preta. She is a poor girl who grew up totally different then Paco's rich up bring. It was love at first sight for both. And they spend the next two days getting to know each other and falling more in love. Paco goes home to break up with his long time girlfriend Barbara. Barbara is only with Paco for his father's money. And she will do anything to marry Paco and inherit Alfonso's billions. Before Paco can break up with her she tells him she is pregnant. Turns out the baby isn't Paco's kid. But no one finds out about that until later in the soap. Paco decides he doesn't would to marry Barbara baby or not... So he packs his bags and moves back down south to be with Preta. Barbara finds him then the drama really starts. With the aid of Preta's ex-boyfriend and Barbara's new boyfriend Preta is drugged and put in her ex's bed so Paco can find her... Paco is heartbroken and tries to leave town. Barbara finds him they get into an helicopter that crashes into the ocean. Everyone thinks that Paco is dead. Eight years later Preta has Paco's son (Rai). And Paco is still heartbroken because he thinks Preta was using him for his money. So he lets everyone think he is dead. And he starts pretending (with the aid of Apollo's brother) to be Apollo a man that looks just like him. Apollo was lost at sea. And to heartbroken to tell his mother Apollo was dead. He asked Paco to pretend to be Apollo. It comes out later that Apollo and Paco are really twins. When Preta brings Rai to meet his grandfather she meets Paco's best-friend (a man in which she marry's later) She runs into Barbara again. Barbara has Paco's dad thinking her son is the only heir. So both women are not to happy to see each other again. Even tho Alfonso loves his new grandson Rai... It's easy for Barbara to start sabotaging Preta and Rai in Alfonso's eyes. Long story short... A lot of drama goes down with DNA tests and money and Alfonso stealing/kidnapping Rai. And while all of this is going on with Preta... Paco is living Apollo's life. Paco/Apollo has found a new girlfriend (Moa). He tries to move on with a new life away from his overbearing father, lying ex girlfriend and (what he thinks) the love of his life Preta has lied and used him for his money. Paco doesn't want anything to do with his old life. Until he finds out he and Preta have a son. Paco wants to know Rai. And his angry starts to go away. And he starts to want Preta back. But he really never forgot about Preta in all those years. And when he finds out Barbara was the one who set Preta up. Preta didn't cheat on him nor did she use him for his money. He becomes obsessed with getting Preta back. But by this time Preta is married to his best-friend. And he is living with Moa. He could just tell everyone the truth but by this time we understand that Paco/Apollo is a bit of a coward. It's easier for him to let everyone believe that he fell in love with his twin brother's baby's mama. Then to tell his love ones the truth and break up with Moa. So he could get back with his family. The truth finally comes out but it wasn't Paco who told it. There is a lot more to this show but this is the basic info. With Paco and Preta getting married in the end. Preta and Paco having another son and named him after Paco's dad Alfonso.
