Square Foot Garden in Branson, MO

Here's a short overview of our square foot gardens at our house in Branson, MO. There's a book you can buy about this concept of gardening, but there are some options on how you want to do it exactly. We're using strictly store bought 'soil' mixture, which is basically various types of compost, manure, peat moss, organic soil mixes, and most importantly use the vermiculite instead of pearlite. I hope my spelling is correct, but they say the pearlite will float to the surface over time, and you don't want that. We're also composting our own food and yard wastes and add that to our mix.
