  • Why is everyone hating on this game? Its really not that much of a pain to drive around. I mean this game is great besides that. But if you can grow a pair and stop bitching about the travel, this game is amazing! I mean sure the outposts respawn enemies too quick but every game has major flaws. And besides, you play an open world game and you don't expect extensive travel? Your fault. This game was one of the most emmersive games i've played to date.

  • Get this now for 4.99€ from Steam.

  • TheRoyalBreton is an idiot. Sure, those sort of things may often come in open world games, but it's still not an excuse. If I make an RPG and people complain it was difficult to find out what to do next, sure it's a problem usually only in RPGs, but it's not a reason to simply ignore it.

The stupid part is the fact that it could have been so easily prevented. Make enemies take about a week to respawn in hideouts. Add helicopters. There. Far Cry 2 made 200% less painful in 3 developer work days.

  • @HarveyCrumpet1 I concur. This game being almost 4 years old, and it's still the most realistic experience i've had in a while. I also once knew a guy who had malaria who resided in north africa and lived in a cheap flat, and said that when he gets his symptoms, his body goes all stiff like extreme pins-and-needles.

It's just good to see that there are still those with more than half a braincell these days.

  • @ChaosDemon2 I'm with you buddy, I loved this game. Met a couple of real-life ex Mercs and diamond smugglers, from Equatorial Guinea, Rhodesia and Angola, about a year after playing this game. And boy some of the stories, fucking hell!!! Talked about Free-town and all. now I've got quite a few Sth African and White Rhodesian friends. This game, along with Blood Diamond, Tears of the Sun and Hotel Rawanda really made me sit up and take notice of Africa. No other video game has had that power.

  • @TheRoyalBreton I personally liked the travel. And it has the only viable story that still takes place today.....Mercs, blood money and millions of African people suffering. It was a beautiful game and in my top 20 favs of all time.

  • Lets just hope for those who hate Far Cry 2 (im not one of them, more the opposite) that Far Cry 3 will be a better impression on them.

  • @SkyrimwillRule because they aren't people. they are ALIEN ROBOT PIRATES!

  • @TheXzebx You can activate subtitles from the game options

  • WHY DONT THEY EVER CATCH THEIR BREATH WHILE THEY TALK?!?!

  • doesn't this game have good graphics for its time?

  • Omg ...i can See Subtitles?...but my game Dont have Subtitles?...how did he Do that?..i played Far cry 2 on pc
