A brief history of the (future) Sobrato Pavilion at VMC

When voters approved Measure A in 2008, they ensured that VMC would stay standing during a major earthquake to care for this community. As the project gets closer to completion (in 2013), the VMC Foundation has launched a major campaign to raise funds for equipment and technology that the building will need. John A. and Susan Sobrato, longtime supporters and champions of the VMC Foundation, stepped up to the plate, announcing a $5 million challenge grant, the largest ever made to the VMC Foundation.
