  • this is awesome...

it takes the common depeche mode themes of , sex , love, anguish, religion, pain, erotism, blends them all and multiplys them by a thousand.

  • It does nothing for me

    but make me sad

    that you did all this

    for nothing

    You had to know

    that I never saw you

as a star in my life's fairytale

    Did you really think

That you'd really change that at all

by putting your hair in a ponytail

  • @Danny7618. no doubt its on whateva depeche mode bootleg album u talkin about, but it aint dm. its color theory.

  • Very inspirated song. Martin would be proud of you ;)

  • "I Want You Now" 3'33" "Sister of Night" 6'36" "It Doesn't Matter" 4'11" "Sweetest Perfection" 5'13" "Here is the House" 4'55" "I Am You" 4'10" "World Full of Nothing" 4'52" "Surrender" 4'17" "But Not Tonight" 3'44" "One Caress" 5'11" "Leave in Silence" 6'35" "Ponytail Girl" 4'18"
  • Color Theory presents Depeche Mode is a tribute album by Brian Hazard's Color Theory, published in 2003 as a one-man effort based in covers from British band Depeche Mode.

All tracks were composed by Martin Gore, except "Ponytail Girl", which is the only original track from Color Theory on the album.

  • This is on The Exciter CD import with the mixes (I forget exact album name but I do have it), not the original album. It is DM.

  • The exact same thing happened to me... AWESOME SONG!

  • I have loved this song since it's release, when it showed up mismarked as a Depeche Mode song on Napster when ULTRA was being released. I thought that this was one of the best damn DM songs I'd heard in years, and was sad it wasn't on the album, only to find out a few years later that it wasn't DM. Still a personal favorite song...

  • I love this song!
