if U.S. did not use many drugs, Mexico would be a peaceful country, but U.S. is the largest consumer of drugs in the world and all the narcos come to Mexico to try to move their drugs to U.S.

legalize and the profit that once went to the cartels can go to the mexican gov -- PROBLEM SOLVED-  alcohol is legal yet not everyone is an alcoholic - the money saved can go into education or rehabilitation - its been proven that after 40 yr of the war on drugs- it easier for our kids to buy a joint than a beer -

From ~80 years ago to the beginning of time, essentially all drugs were legal. Mankind had to go and fuck shit up by criminalizing drugs in the early 1930's and onward. The drug war could be ended almost OVERNIGHT if we simply legalize and regulate and/or decriminalize all drugs just like alcohol. The cartels are a direct reflection of the mafia in the 20's and early 30's. Once alcohol was legalized the mafia lost most of their power. Why are we repeating our mistakes.

If it is not America's fault, why would they go through all the trouble for routes into the US? Mexicans cannot afford drugs like Americans can. Each cartel brings in billions of US dollars. Where does it come from? They don't rob banks. They don't invest in the stock market. They aren't CEO's in Google or Apple.

If the goverment would legalize and regulate all drugs, what would the DRUG cartels have to do in the states?

The only thing criminalizing drugs do is creating a huge black market for the real criminals to profit on.

Its not your everyday heroin/meth/crack addict or pothead whos driving over the boarder locked and loaded with military grade weapons shooting anything that gets in the way of there drop off.

So the goverment is indirectly supporting the very thing they are fighting.
