A shocking decline in the quality of TV theme tunes over the last 25 years has been uncovered by our team of investigators. Some in the industry are now calling for the government to directly intervene to reverse this trend and restore the once rich portfolio of melodies which came to characterise the BBC. That's "Telly Tunes in Crisis", tonight at nine, on BBC1.
