How To Secure Window Boxes on Deck or Patio Railings

Continued trials by spring weather. Gusty wind lasted 10-12 hours and beat up the plants quite a bit. Some of these plants have been in the planters for 7 days, and others for a mere 24 hours. You can't fool around with Mother Nature! Worst problem was the heavy rain on the croton leaves. Addtionally, our temperatures dropped to 38-40 degrees on a few nights which caused some leaf damage. All in all, the nursery stock proved hardy. Each window box has 3 aluminum holders and each planter basket has 3 wrought iron rings to secure to railings.
